Default shutting down

when i try to shut down my computer i keep getting a
window that pops up entitled END PROGRAM RUNDLL32.EXE and
it is telling me that this program is not responding.
can anyone help?

And what, pray tell, does this have to do with Office? You don't even tell
us what OS you use and, once you find that out, post in that OS's newsgroup.

Personally I think that a shutdown problem does have to do with "Office" That wasn't very nice of you.
