Completely different problem.
State your Outlook version and what you are trying to do more clearly. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "klund" wrote in message ... I'm having somewhat of a similar problem. I keep trying to add a new account and once I have completed this process i'll go back and check the e-mail account box (the one that shows all the outlook accounts)and it will be blank. If I can add a new e-mail account and it shows the process was successful i cannot access the account because it denies my user name and password. I know i'm doing it right because I set up my e-mail account without any problems. It's setting up the second account for my husband that is giving me a headache. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Your description, if accurate, defies reality. If you have two or more Contacts Folders listed under your Outlook Address Book, then that dialog box could not be blank. Re read what I posted. State your problem more clearly and post back with a more accurate description of what you are seeing. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "DNT" wrote in message news:C_5Nd.6281$uc.2840@trnddc04... I tried that but when I got as far as Outlook Address Book, nothing showed up - the list was blank. What now? "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... Win XP with Office XP, using Outlook for email. I seem to have 2 Contacts folders but only 1 shows up on the folder list. When I try to open it, I get a message saying it cannot be displayed because the folder could not be opened. Then the address book window opens and if I click the down arrow next to "Contacts", a second Contacts folder appears. If I click on that one, no problem, it opens and I can access everything. If I try to delete the first Contacts folder, I can't. But under the Folders list I see only 1 Contacts folder - the one I can't open. Can anyone help? Denise |
