Converting publisher file to Adobe
I have Rockwell and I created a PDF with no problems. Open a new instance of
Publisher, setup the printer first as Adobe PDF. Copy/paste the text from the original publication to the new. Try the PDF again. Adobe is offering three free conversions, maybe you could try that. http://createpdf.adobe.com/ -- Mary Sauer http://msauer.mvps.org/ "Chris Game" wrote in message ... It's a True-type font (Rockwell) so should be ok; I tried the 'Save As' both with embedded checked and with it not. Always came out black. I tried a line or two in MS-Word, saved as pdf, sure enough the pdf showed coloured text! I have been using the Broadgun PDF machine from a wide range of XP programs including Publisher with excellent results. -- _ _________________________________________ / \._._ |_ _ _ /' Orpheus Internet Services \_/| |_)| |(/_|_|_ / 'Internet for Everyone' _______ | ___________./ http://www.orpheusinternet.co.uk |

Well I just tried the (free) Primo PDF printer, and it looks like that produced the correct coloured font!!! At least that's a work-round. Thanks John and Mary for the suggestions. -- Chris Game Justify my text? I'm sorry but it has no excuse. |

Converting publisher file to Adobe
Chris,
The advantage to a separate pdf program is, it can be used for any file produced by any program that allows printing. An addin pdf creator works only with the program it is added to. -- Don - PDF-XChange/PDF-XChange Viewer Vancouver, USA "Chris Game" wrote in message ...
