Default changing margins

Did I tell everybody here my computer crashed and I was without a
computer for 2 weeks? Well, I'm so frazzled and am going crazy trying to
print an invitation and can't get it to print far enough to the right. I
can't find where to reset the margins. Where should I look?

Thanks. -e

Arrange|Layout guides

Take tow Valium and talk to us after you get things straightened out again.
(I'd be a wreck after two *days*!)

Not being able to print to the right, landscaped, is a limitation of your
printer's margins.

Oh, it's been a nightmare. My setup is 5 years old. I've been planning
to get a new computer early next year, after Vista is out. I just don't
feel capable of installing Linux. I had a sudden hard drive failure and
didn't want to be pressured into buying a new computer immediately,
without research, pre holiday sales, and also I expect new models to be
out after the first of the year.

B/c it's so old, there's like only ONE guy within a hundred miles who
can work on ME (so says Sony). Long story short, I took it in, it was
there in the shop over a week, and now it's back. I now have all the
work of redoing everything the way I like, reinstalling everything, but
none of the fun of having a new computer. Just writing about it is
raising my blood pressure. More valium, please!

Anyway, in a panic, everything takes twice as long and usually goes
wrong. ;-) I've been working on this stuff for days. Why doesn't help
have an entry for 'margin' ? I couldn't be the first who can't remember
or can't figure it out.

Thanks, Joann!

Thanks, Mary. It's portrait - sorry I didn't explain more details. I
know my printer margins and it's better than 1-1/4 inch on the right LOL

Top .07 inch
Bottom .46 inch
left/Right .125 inch

This is RIDICULOUS! I am not an amateur and I have been using Pub for
years. Some of my lines will not print and I have no idea why! What I
see is NOT what I get. The print preview looks fine and the main screen
looks fine. Everything is inside the margins. I reduced some of the font
sizes. I'm using up all my colored ink on these wrong practice sheets.

Sorry - it's Publisher 2002.

JoAnn's letter about Arrange - Layout guides did the trick. But it's
quite obscure ... Who would think of that? 'Margin' isn't in Help.

MORE VALIUM!

I have sat here all morning. I tried my invitation in Word, Publisher,
and Powerpoint. Maybe I should try Excel or Access. One particular line
will NOT PRINT in any application. I changed the font color to yellow
and back to black. It's a short line. I cannot figure this out. I was
going to get an early start today. Not gonna happen. I'm going for a
walk now. :-(

Hi Erika,

Is it possible that you had installed an
updated printer driver before your crash
that you forgot to reinstall on your new
setup? Check your printer mfgs support
site for an updated driver and instructions
on how to install it.
