Thank you very much! I shall try this and hope that it works for me! I
really appreciate your help!! Another question: Will the page numbers
insert automatically or will I have to insert them, and if so, how do I
insert them?

Thanks much!

BTW - you may want to set up master documents for that data. I'm creating a
handbook for a seminar later this year. I'm looking at about a 64 page
document when everything is said and done.

I have four master documents. Two are for the covers, two are for the inside
pages. I have it set up so I only have one Publisher document for the entire
publication and my page numbers don't start until the first "real" page. Now
that everything is set in the master documents, all I have to do is to add
the content. :-)

Ms. Paules:

I am about to start work on my booklet, which will include 65 students. I
am so scared that I will get all the into keyed in and then it won't print in
the right order. Can you please advise me in "simple" terms how to set this
thing up so that it will work right. How do I set up the master copies that
you were referring to? Thanks for all your help!!

Master pages are kind of cool, in a geeky sort of way. Think of Master pages
as a sort of pre-printed letterhead.

I am using 4 master pages for my booklet. One is for the outside cover
(Master A), one is for the inside cover (Master B), one is for the inside
left page (Master C), and the last is for the inside right page (Master D).
I chose to make my cover part of the handbook file instead of a separate
file even though it will be printed on different stock.

I chose the decorative elements that I wanted throughout the handbook. I put
it on the top and bottom of Masters A, C, and D. I did not want them on the
inside of the covers. I positioned these elements exactly where I wanted
them so I knew they would be in the same place on each of the pages and I
wouldn't accidentally move them, not even a hair off center. (I'm really
anal about some things.)

I added the seminar name and page numbers to Masters C and D. I had to make
sure that pages 1 and 2 (the front cover) was a separate section and that my
page numbering starts on the first real page of the handbook, not the cover.
Because I'm using a Master page without page numbers for the cover I don't
need to do that for the back page.

Would if help you if I sent you a bit of my file? I can send you a few pages
so that you can see what I mean.
