Default How does one "check the file permissions for the document"?

I saved a document. When I tried to retrieve it the message said "check the
file permissions for the document.." I don't know how to do this and as a
result cannot retrieve an important document.

Does this question have anything to do with MS Access? You might want to find
and post to a more appropriate news group with additional details.

Is this a MS Access question?

This newsgroup is for the relational database MicroSoft Access that is part
of the MicroSoft Office Professional suite.

It doesn't sound like an Access question but in Windows Explorer, you can
right-click the file and select Properties and one of the tab in the Dialog
should be "Security" detail permissions on the file ...
