Default Issue uploading calendar to server

Hello all,
Starting the beginning of this week, my calendar will not upload to the
server and update to everyone who views it. Everytime I try, it states the
upload failed, will send on next send/recieve, there was a problem uploading
the file to the server. I am trying to find out if you think it is an issue
with our server, Microsoft's server, or if I could just be doing something
wrong. Never had an issue before. Oh, by the way, I am running Outlook 07.
Thanks for any help.

Do you happen to know of anyway around it? The only thing I have figured is
e-mailing the calendar out everytime a change is made.

Until the server is fixed, that is the only way to do it.

According to the last update time of my calendar @ "My Office.com" (sign in
link in upper right @ office.microsoft.com) - it's been a problem since the
evening of Dec 17 (eastern time).

It's astonishing that a big company like Microsoft can have a server failure
like this drag on for such a long time. A few hours, I can understand. But
it's been nearly a week now! I've been bugged so many times for requests
that I log in that I've stopped publishing my calendar.

I've been getting the same error:

The upload of "Calendar" failed. There was a problem uploading to the file server.

I get this any time i try to publish the calendar to the Internet from Outlook 2007.

I started getting the error about a week ago. The problem first appeared as repeated requests for a username/password... Then when I looked into it further I found that the calendar was not beeing shared.

I've tried deleting the calendar online, making a new logon... To no avail.

Is calendar sharing in OutLook 2007 through office online just not working any more? Can any one share their calendar though office online.

Are there alternatives... Is anyone looking into WebDav?

Without knowing what the problem is, its hard to say why its taking so long.
The Christmas holiday week is probably not helping.

I know they farm out server/hosting to several companies but I don’t know if
the office live servers are included. They do have massive server farms and
its possible that only a small % of users are affected and they are having
problems isolating the cause.

If calendar publishing is critical for you, you really need to get your own
webdav server.

Office online publishing is broken at this time. Yes, webdav works well.
All you need is a computer with a version of iis installed that supports
webdav. A real server is not required- IIS is included with some versions of
XP, Vista, and Win7 will work. (I believe apache can be configured for
webdav too, but I've never tried it. )

You'll need write permissions to publish a calendar, read permission
(anonymous or specific user accounts) to add the calendar to outlook.

I also have the same problem, but I don't think it's a server error, because
I can publish the calendar on a different PC using the same account. I am
using Outlook 2007 and Windows 7 on both machines.
