Default Syncing Oulook Calendar to Windows Live Calendar

I have three hotmail accounts that are synced to my OL 07. This means I have
three different calendars also under the calendar tab, but I only use one.
Unfortunatly, when I first started using OL, the calendar that I started to
use was not the default calendar that is automatically synced to my main
hotmail account. I do have one other calendar, a work calendar that I use in
OL, that must be the default calendar for that main hotmail account, as it
syncs just fine. What I want to do, is be able to share/sync/subscribe,
whatever I have to do, to get that main calendar to my main hotmail account
as well. I heard that I could copy the web address for the calendar in OL
when you send out the 'sharing' email, and then go to subscribe on my hotmail
account and put that address in there, so I did that, but it never synced and
I kept on getting an error message.

I'm not sure what else do to....Appreciate the help. Thanks!

The account that the calendar is in needs to be set as your default account
and delivery location.

If you need to move appointments to this calendar, switch to a table view,
like by category or all appointments, and drag the items from one calendar
to the other.

Ok let me try this when I get home and I'll get back to you and let you know
if it worked or not. Thanks Diane!

Default Syncing Oulook Calendar to Windows Live Calendar

One thing I should note, is that I think I have my default calendar already
going to that hotmail account. It has my work info on it. The one I want
sent over there is my personal calendar...So I would have two calendars under
that one account. Can I subscribe to this 'personal' calendar by using the
web address from the sharing email that gets sent out in outlook, for when
you want other people to see your calendar? This I tried, but it didn't
work. After looking further into it, it said that when you subscribe to a
calendar, you can't use a web address that has: "You can't use Calendar to
subscribe to iCals who web addresses begin https:// or webcals://" The one I
copied and pasted from outlook is a webcal. How do I get around this?

Thanks!

Diane, I was wondering if you could let me know how you set that calendar as
the default, so it can show up on my main hotmail account calendar online?
Thanks!

You don't set the calendar, you set the account as default (tools, account
settings) - then the calendar will be default.

Are you publishing it to office online or using the outlook connector to
access your live account in outlook?

For problems publishing to office online, see
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...8-7c62f4a8a000

For problems using the connector, is the live account set as the default?
Did you copy your appointments to the calendar?
