Copying music files to CD
I thought I had embedded my music as wav files in this presentation, but
when I copied to CD there is no music. Obviously, the music is linked to my computer and not embedded. I inserted the music through Insert Movies and Sounds- Sound from File- and then choose a file from my music (wav, not mp3). I've also tried inserting it as a transition sound, but still no luck getting it to save music to CD. I'm thinking maybe I need to go to Options and increase the file size of linked sounds and reinsert the music files. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. |

M_corbelli,
Yes, increase the file size to its maximum,50000kb. And see if that helps. Also have a look here for alternatives: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00155.htm -- Luc Sanders (MVP - PowerPoint) "m_corbelli" schreef in bericht . .. Copying music files to CD
This may be a stupid question, but do I then need to delete the files and
reinsert them, or will it update automatically? Thanks for the fast reply. "Luc" wrote in message ... M_corbelli, Yes, increase the file size to its maximum,50000kb. And see if that helps. As Luc says increase to 50000 will embed (new) wavs added through insert
movies & sounds BUT transition sounds are always embedded so that should have worked whatever the setting. There's a lot of info on embedding wavs and mp3 files here http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/powerpoi...tutorials.html -- Amazing PPT Hints, Tips and Tutorials-http://www.PPTAlchemy.co.uk http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/ppttipshome.html email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "m_corbelli" wrote: I thought I had embedded my music as wav files in this presentation, but when I copied to CD there is no music. That's not a stupid question at all. The setting is not "retroactive," so
you must delete and reinsert the sounds. -- Echo [MS PPT MVP] http://www.echosvoice.com What's new in PPT 2007? http://www.echosvoice.com/2007.htm Fixing PowerPoint Annoyances http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/powerpointannoy/ "m_corbelli" wrote in message . ..
