units on hand
No-one can tell based on the information you gave us.
Where does thre 'units on hand' control get its value from and how is it calculated. Send us the formula, and send us the origin of all the fields used in the formula. It should be something like units on hand = beginning inventory + units received - units sold -Dorian "sharon" wrote: i am confused! i am new to using Access and am learning as i go. i downloaded a template for keeping inventory and when i type in the amounts for 'ordered' and 'received', the correct number does not show up in the 'units on hand'. does anyone know why? or what i can do to fix it?? thanks! |

To add some to Dorian's answer, you might want to check out Access MVP Allen Browne's page on this topic: Inventory Control: Quantity on Hand http://allenbrowne.com/AppInventory.html Tom Wickerath Microsoft Access MVP http://www.accessmvp.com/TWickerath/ http://www.access.qbuilt.com/html/ex...tributors.html __________________________________________ "mscertified" wrote: No-one can tell based on the information you gave us.
