Default MS Office 2007 (Word)-Writing Pad

I am sot sure that this is a MS Word issue but if not maybe someone can
direct me to another site.

I just did a clean install of Win 7 (64) and then reinstalled all of my
software.

Every time I use MS Word I keep getting a small icon of a keyboard. It
becomes a small writing pas when I click it. I am trying to figure out how
not to have it showing up all the time - it is annoying.

I have a Wacom tablet (Intuous 3) and thought it might be the issue but I
can't find anything in its setup that relates to this Writing Pad.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Alan
