Default How to identify active text column in a page

Dear friends,

Am working with VSTO 2005/ Ms-word2007 template project.

I got a page in word application which is split out in to three text
columns. I am writing my paragraphs in the same page and inside a specific
range. Will i be able to identify in which text column i am in (i.e my cursor
position on which column)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
