Default easy option control question Access 2000

I have 2 options buttons in a option group frame.
I want to make a decision based on which botton is selected.
But I do not get it, the value of opt 1 is 1 and opt 2 is 2. The value does
not seem to change regarless of which is selected.

in vb6 I can just say(with 0 being unchecked and 1 being checked and 2 being
greyed out)

If opt1 = 1 then
statement
else
statement
end if

In access 2000 I am using opt1.optionvalue pertains to which option control
it is in the group and not the selection state of the option control.
can you help please

Adam,
Not sure if I understand exactly what you're asking... but...
What is the name of the Optionbox itself... the control that contains
Opt1 and Opt2. If it happens to be MyOptionBox, then...
If MyOptionBox = 1 Then
'do something
Else
'do something else
End If
