Default Cannot save design changes in table/report in Access 2007

Hi,

I have done this before, but suddenly I seem to be unable to save changes to
the design of forms and reports. Nobody else is accessing the database.

I can push save, but when I then click on close form/report I get the
messsage asking if I want to save before closing. If I then press yes, the
saving message disappears but the form/report is still open. If I want to
close it again, the same message pops up. The only way to get out is by
pressing don't save changes, but then the changes I made to the design were
not changed.

I have been able to make design changes before, does anyone know what might
have happened?

Run this basic recovery sequence:
http://allenbrowne.com/recover.html

If you are still stuck, create a new database, create a form in it, and see
if it has the same problem.

I have the same issue. I have tried the recovery sequence and it did not correct the problem. I have tried splitting the database and it did not correct the problem. I tried creating a new database and importing the forms and reports from the split database and nearly every item failed. If I create a new database with mock information, then I can save design changes to the report. My database has 12 reports and 16 forms... is there any way around recreating them all?

Have you verified there is no problem with references?

Did you try the SaveAsText/LoadFromText with any of the broken forms?
