Saving to Powerpoint
Hi,
I would like to know how can I save Visio diagrams as powerpoint. I want the users to be able to edit the diagram in powerpoint as well (i.e. selecting each line/shape). How can I do it in reverse (from powerpoint to visio). Thanks. Fatima |

David Edson's book (Professional Development With Visio 2000) has some
examples of going to and from Powerpoint. Al "Fatima" wrote in message ... Hi, I would like to know how can I save Visio diagrams as powerpoint. Fatima, Did this book answer your question? I have the same question as you do. I would like to be able to move between powerpoint and visio while still being able to edit the seperate boxes and lines. Were you able to do this after all?

Saving to Powerpoint
Hi,
Sorry, I am not in North America and I don't think I can find this book here. Is there anything (like an convertor, etc) such that I can do this conversion? Thanks. If you want to retain editability of the diagram, paste your Visio diagram
into PowerPoint as an embedded OLE object (the default option). If you only want the graphic image, paste as an enhanced metafile. -- Mark Nelson Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Hi Mark,
Thank you. However, I cannot see "embedded OLE object" under Paste Special. Please advise where I can download such convertor. Thanks. diagram into PowerPoint as an embedded OLE object (the default option). ... Thank you. However, I cannot see "embedded OLE object" under Paste Special. In PowerPoint, you might try Insert Object Create from file and browse to select a Visio file. This embeds a copy of the diagram into the PowerPoint file. To edit the diagram, use the right mouse button and "Open Visio Object." Visio has to be installed in order to edit the diagram. (I have Win 98 and Office 97.) |
