Default Office 2003 Trial

I would like to install the trial version of Office 2003. I can elect not to
install Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint over the existing version but
Outlook needs to be removed. What happens if I decide to stay with Outlook
2002, can I revert back after upgrading to 2003?

Would system restore do the trick or are the Outlook 2002 completly erased?

Hi, Chris,

No, System Restore is not going to be the best recommendation. I'd only use
it in case of a system crash.

You would need to re-install Outlook 2002 from your original installation
media. I'd back up any PST files before doing either the installation or
restore, however. The PST files store your Outlook data.

If you retain the same PST format you can revert without problem. Do not
create any new PSTs in the 2003 format until you are sure you want to keep it.
