Help with Office XP
Try making another user and ensure that you give her admin rights
-- Bernard Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove CAPS in email address "Steph" wrote in message news:TDQkd.190469$Pl.44454@pd7tw1no... Was having network problems with my wife's windows 2000 prof computer, so I deleted her old User and created a new one, then copied the old profile to retain her settings. Everything works fine EXCEPT Office XP which won't start any of the apps "Office was not installed for this user. Please reinstall" Unfortunately, Office will neither install nor will it uninstall from the add/remove programs applet. The installer starts to run, but goes nowhere. Doesn't even get to the add components/uninstall screen Help! |
