Outlook 2007 Reminders not showing for recurring events
Diane
All new (non-recurring) appoinments created in Outlook do pop-up. But if I change them into recurring ones no reminders appear. I have tried the suggestion of closing Outlook and then Start, Run Outlook /cleanreminders and this launches Outlook but does not fix the problem. I am reluctant to use Start, Run Outlook /resetfolders in case this wipes out everything I have already stored as appointments, personal files Inbox, Sent Mail, etc. Tom "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Do reminders work for any new appointments you create in Outlook? that switch just resets the default folders, it wont remove anything.

Outlook 2007 Reminders not showing for recurring events
When I press Ctrl+6 it just lists the standard set of folders (Personal
Folders and Archive Folders.) I have tried starting Outlook with /resetfolders and this doesn't work. More specifically, if I create an appointment a reminder pops up. If I then change that appointment to a recurring one (of any type - daily, weekly, monthly, every four weeks, etc.) it disappears from my reminders window. Outlook 2007 Reminders not showing for recurring events
It doesn't sound like you are using the wrong folder for the appointments.
When you make a change on a current appointment after the reminder fired and save it, the time for the reminder is passed so it won't fire again. If you dismiss the reminder, its turned off and you need to reset the reminder for the recurrences. Outlook 2007 Reminders not showing for recurring events
Diane
My new recurring popup reminders are now working. I think it must have been either the cleanreminders or the resetfolders launch which did it. It didn't correct old ones, but new ones now seem to be OK. Many thanks for your responsiveness.
