Default Question on Win Fax and Office Word XP

I am currently online and am in the process of attempting to send a fax doc.
Nothing appears to be happening. When I open the Win Fax Console and look in
the 'Outbox's the fax that I am attempting to send is located there!? Do I
need to signoff of my ISP in order for this to work? Thanks in advance . . .
Tom J.

Of course.
The fax program needs to use your phone line.
