Default Ctrl-C doen't trim anymore

I have accidentally hit some keys that have changed the
way Ctrl-C copies. It not copies a group of spaces after a
name instead of just copying the name.

How do I reset the keyboard short cut Ctrl-C to trim the
blank spaces again?

AFAIK Ctrl-C never trims spaces. It should copy whatever is selected.
