Default incoming/outgoing server address?

I made a spreadsheet and wanted to send it to my work address. The first time
I tried, a window popped up that asked for the incoming and outgoing server
addresses. I obviously used the wrong one because I keep getting error
messages that won't let me send my sheet. How do I change the addresses now
that I think I have the correct ones? I am using the Home and student 2007
version.

It sounds like you haven't set up an account in Outlook yet. Or, if you are
using another email client, it hasn't been set up with an account yet.
Can you open your email client and send email to anyone?

Basically you are going to have to contact your internet service provider
and ask them for the names of their incoming/outgoing servers. They will
probably be something like
pop.YourProvidersName.com (incoming POP3 provider)
smtp.YourProviderName.com (outgoing server name)
or if you have an imap based service like GMail, they would be
imap.gmail.com (incoming)
smtp.gmail.com (outgoing)

You get to them in Outlook by going to Tools -- Accounts and either create
a new account and follow the wizard's prompts, or if you already have an
account set up use 'Change' to edit the server names.

Hope this helps.
