Default Internet Fax Service

I have MS Office 2007 installed. When I try to use the internet fax service
from MS Word it gives me an error that "Internet Fax Service Requires Outlook
2007."

Of course, I have outlook 2007, and it's running when I get this message.
What is wrong?

Thanks

I think you will find the msg states ' you must sign up with an internet fax
service provider'

No. The msg states what I said it states. That is why I am having problems
and posting here, rather than implementing the fax service provider I have
already signed up for. I'm not that computer-illiterate.

On a related note, when I start Publisher I get a message that indicates I
do not have business contact manager set up in Outlook 2007 (which I do).

Thus, it appears that the problem is related to the ability of other
programs in the Office Suite to recognize Outlook 2007 and its components (or
possibly that Outlook 2007 has been activated (which it has been)). If the
suite were working correctly, I would have neither problem and be happily
faxing my life away.

While re-installing Outlook 2007 (which is buggy as hell, IMO) is a possible
solution, I have spent considerable hours tweaking and customizing the
program (font sizes, views, templets, etc., etc.) and don't want to have to
do that all over again (not to mention messing with the .pst files, account,
internet calendar subscriptions, etc. etc.).

Thank You.

Fax utility and Outlook integration is sometimes annoying and buggy.
Instead, use internet fax service provider and export your ms word file
into PDF file. Upload and send, internet fax service server will
automatically convert your PDF into fax file. Try extremefax, they
provide a software for easy faxing.

Agree, Internet fax service is more easy to use, it converts MS Office
documents to faxes and send them instantly through web or email client. I
recommend http://www.popfax.com online fax service, it is reliable one and
offers free and unlimited reception.
