Default Action row with a hyperlink formula

I'm having problems referencing my hyperlink section to my action section
which altimately will be a selection on my smart tag menu

Here are my entries in the shapesheet:
Hyperlinks.kachi
Description: "Links.vsd"
Address: "C:\Documents and Settings\kanyikwa\Desktop\Visio\Links.vsd"
SubAddress: "a2"
---------------------------------------------
Actions.link
Action: "Hyperlink.kachi.Address" or Hyperlink.kachi.SubAddress; none of
these seemed to have the desired effect,

I'll appreciate any help you can provide

Thanks,

Kachi

I tried that and still got an error message, Visio tried to open the link in an explorer window.

Thanks.

I almost missed the important part of your reply as you had it
indented along with my response!

What is the error message? Something like
"Opening filename"
Hyperlinks can be harmfull etc ..
That's normal.

I clicked Yes after the pop up appeared and it still tried to open it in a
browser and failed.

I wrote a hyperlink macro, how would I enter my macro formula into the
action section?

Thanks for your help.

In a browser? Anyway, after you say yes to open it then it's beyond
the control of Visio, it's Windows that does the opening, so check
your file association.

Why not do what the Hyperlink section was designed to do?
Anyway, you can't do it from the shapesheet, you will need some code
to do that.
