I contend it's not the age of the painter's palette board but the artistic
genius of the painter. Donato "da Vinci" Schmidt Vancouver, USA "Uncle Grumpy" wrote in message news "Don Schmidt" Don red_1987 wrote: What shortcomings? IT'S FREAKIN' OUTDATED. |

Although I do try to stay somewhat current, you are correct. New software is
just a tool. Talent is not included. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] ~~~~~ How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "Don Schmidt" Don red_1987 wrote in message ... Actually Matt if you setup the template as a 2000 document, you wouldn't need

By the way, does anyone even want this? eBay UK just sold a copy of Publisher 2000 for about £33 (about $65). Publisher 2000 seems to still be gaining new users. So then the question is still "Does anyone even want this?". Is it useful for anyone or am I making "busy work" for myself? Okay, I resaved it as a Publisher 2000 file. Now everyone should be able to
use it. Unless you have Publisher 98. If that's the case you're on your own. Okay... It seems to be a problem to get information on making business card layouts that have the trim marks on them from Publisher. Publisher can't do this, you have to either make a template with the marks on it or you have to use a imposition program. So to get around that problem I have made a 10-up business card template with the trim marks in the proper places. You can download it from he http://www.mattbeals.com/misc/publis...ness_cards.zip Now that you have the template available it's up to you to use it the right way.
