Merge diagrams from separate pages onto one page
I would like to be able to use the 'page' tabs feature of visio to keep
diagrams structured in manageable sub-process chunks. However, there are times when I would like to merge all of the separate sub-processes onto one page that is printable on large format paper (11*17 up to poster size) for ease of reference across sub-processes in review meetings. What is the best way to do this? I would very much like another option beyond copying and pasting each sub-process diagram onto a new page and creating a complete new piece of content. This seems like such a duplication of effort. Thanks! -- JF |

Merge diagrams from separate pages onto one page
The only "solution" that I can think of is use the Page.Export method to
create an image (say emf) automatically, and arrange them on a new page - these images can have hyperlinks to the original page. At least you won't be duplicating anything. Merge diagrams from separate pages onto one page
There should be something in the printer properties that allows you to
print multiple pages per sheet (by sheet I mean a single piece of paper). I believe the print jargon term is "N-Up" on some printers. In Visio, go into File/Print/click Properties... button and look for a setting called something like "Pages per sheet" or "Page Layout"/"N-Up". Depending how the chunks overlap, you may want to consider layers.
