Default Tab Question

I am using Access 2000. I have a form with 5 tabs. The first tab is data
taken at intake interview for a patient. The second through the fifth is for
subsequent patient visits. The requirement is to be able to change certain
fields without altering the inital intake information in the first tab; for
eg. the address fields if at the second visit, the patient's address has
changed, I should be able to enter the new address without changing the
address at intake. However, going forward the data from the most recent tab
should be picked up for the following tabs. Is this doable in Access - can
somebody please help?
Thanks
