Default Hyperlink path - possible problem

I'm having a similar problem. I have a hyperlink field on a form. To enter the link in the record, I right-click the field and select Hyperlink Edit Hyperlink. The Insert Hyperlink dialog box default to the correct path (set in the Hyperlink Base), so I just click the filename I want. In the Address field of the dialog box, it displays the current folder name, a backslash, and the filename. When I close the dialog box, the resulting hyperlink doesn't work. When I go back into the dialog box, the Address now has a forward slash instead of the original backslash. Does anyone know how to get around this?
