Remove Negative AutoNumbers
Is there a way to have only positive numbers in an

Remove Negative AutoNumbers
No. Random is random.

No. Random means random and the random generator is going to go through the
full range of long integers. Now, ask yourself the question, "Why does it matter"? All an AutoNumber field does is provide you with a unique identifier for a record. It should not matter what it's value is. If you really need to display it to your users as a positive value, however, you can use the ABS() function. -- Lynn Trapp MS Access MVP www.ltcomputerdesigns.com Access Security: www.ltcomputerdesigns.com/Security.htm "Matt" wrote in message ...
