Default Combine landscape & portrait format in one document

Doing an eight page. 8.5 x 11 portrait formatted newsletter that requires a
Landscape formatted calendar. Having trouble making it ONE document using
both formats. Any ideas? It's reproduced on paper digitally and also
ultimately emailed as a PDF. Without printing out both and scanning, how can
I create this?

1. Do a search for portrait and landscape in this forum. The subject has been
addressed in the past.

2. Set up separate portrait and landscape publications. Create PDFs. Combine
the separate PDFs into one. (I have done this with pdfedit995 software; I
assume Acrobat and other PDF creators can do the same).

Acrobat can, I've done it numerous times.
It will also extract specific pages to separate files.
