Default Break column with Drop Cap character

How to make break column and Drop Cap character well ?
If i break column before make Drop Cap, character Drop Cap will jump back in
the first column. In other hand, if i make Drop Cap character before break
column, on top of the second column appear one space line.

Default Break column with Drop Cap character

The only way that I deal with a Drop Cap at the top of column two, is to
format the paragraph mark (that seems to have to be there for the Column
Break) as 1pt with no spacing before/after.
I hope that someone else may hop in here with a more elegant solution to a
Column Break Before Drop Cap.
Hope this helps

Default Break column with Drop Cap character

A drop cap is nothing but a large character in a frame, and it is subject to
all the issues (including placement difficulties) associated with frames. It
must be anchored to a paragraph (usually the one it begins).
