Notes
Is it possible to have a note attached to a phrase rather
than a cell? So where ever that phrase may be duplicated within a worksheet, it will carry the same note attached to it. e.g JS with John Smith as the note attached JB with Joe Bloggs as the note attached. Any help would be appreciated. Regards |

Notes
Is it possible to have a note attached to a phrase rather
than a cell? Not AFAIK. The only workaround I can think of is if the whole cell read eg: "Memo to JS sales figures" ; you could hyperlink the cell to itself and set a Screen Tip as "John Smith". Then take the hyperlink format OFF by painting the format from a regular cell. Then mousing over the *entire* cell would pop-up the Screen Tip. HTH but you'd have to set it up for each instance so probably not, Andy |
