Publisher 2003 files can't be opened by Publisher 2000 users
Even though I save files created in Publisher 2003 as Publisher 2000 files
they can't be opened by associates who are using Publisher 2000. What might be the problem? |

Does it happen every time? I've had it happen to me occasionally but I've
found a little perseverance seems to do the trick. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "hobnail" wrote in message ... Even though I save files created in Publisher 2003 as Publisher 2000 files they can't be opened by associates who are using Publisher 2000. What might be the problem? |

On one occasion it the file did open. That was a calendar. The ones I am
having the trouble with are newsletters. "JoAnn Paules [MVP]" wrote: Does it happen every time? Like I said, sometimes I'd have to do it a couple of times before it worked.
No clue why. Do the recipients need to be able to edit the files? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "hobnail" wrote in message ... On one occasion it the file did open. That was a calendar. Do you know what error messages they are getting? If not, ask and then post
them here. Don't accept - "They won't open". Get specifics. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] "hobnail" wrote in message ... yes, otherwise i would convert to something else "JoAnn Paules [MVP]" wrote: Like I said, sometimes I'd have to do it a couple of times before it worked.
