Default Embedded Fonts in Template?

Is it possible to embed fonts in a Word 2003 template so that the resulting
document will copy them over and embed them?

In Word 2003, ToolsOptionsSave includes a checkbox to Embed TrueType
Fonts, but be aware that the *entirety* [all glyphs] of any font used in
the template wil be embedded -- large file size. Just keep in mind that not
all fonts can be embedded & that most of the newer fonts aren't TTs.

So will the embedded fonts get transferred and embedded into any documents
created from the template?

And I neglected to mention that there is a checkbox to embed only characters
used, which reduces file size but also can cause problems for doc where
additional characters (beyond what were actually used in the template) need
to be typed into the new docs.
