Re-installing Office 2007 on new computer
I got a new computer and need to re-install my Office 2007. I am a student
and got it from Microsoft via download. So, I have no disc to insert and install. I do have the product key. I am having trouble finding a site where I can re-enter my product key to get my Office 2007 Student version back. Anybody have a website for me to use for my product key?? Thanks in advance!! You could have ordered a cd when you purchased for an extra charge. Or you
could have purchased from eg Amazon, which would have got you the cd at a cheaper price. You saved the product key but failed to save the installation file. Office trials are available from MS you can try the H&S Trial and see if it updates with your key, if it doesnt you made an expensive mistake. Its also possible your new PC has a Trial prinstalled. No problem. Microsoft has got everything for you on their website. To
download a product for which you have a valid product key, you need to click on this link: http://www.microsoft.com/office/downloads/ The above link is genuine and the software packages aren't trial versions. hth "pelletgrrl" wrote in message ... Expensive mistakes can only be made by people who are clean of drugs and other narcotics. you don't qualify to give such advice because of your position regarding drugs and other matters. Andrea The Office products on the web site you posted are only for those that have a retail version license key and will not work for a converted trial license key that the OP has. Microsoft has made the downloads available to those people who have a purchased retail key ("Locate the Product Key on the back of the media holder") and disk but either the disk is lost, damaged or not useable because they have a net book with no optical drive. |
