Mary, JoAnn, Mike, David & Ed (hope I didn't forget anyone)

Any of you, able and willing to write four Word doc sorting macros?

I have a Word 2002 table consisting of three columns, Name, Lodge, e-mail
address.

I would like to be able to have four executable titles, Create new Address,
Sort by Name, Sort by Lodge and Sort by e-mail address.
(Create new address to add new table row to make available the new name,
lodge and address)

Presently this is six 8½"x11" pages and will grow in time.

Willing to trade, beg, pay for slave wages.........

This is a file that I have no say in the format being offered to the Grand
Lodge members; the webmaster says Word (and pdf) and Word (and pdf) is shall
be.

Although many folks do not have Excel, Microsoft does offer a free Excel
Viewer.

Rob, maybe you're right, a little Chianti, some Swiss cheese and Salami on
a thick slice of Italian bread. Molto buono!

Why would they want to sort by em addr?

How are they going to use this form?
Word may not be your best choice depending on usage.

But, really it's not all that hard to do, but make sure you save the Macro
with the same doc. (not a diff location - you may miss this if you are not
paying attention due to the Chianti-factor)

Personally I think Access would be a better choice...or maybe Excel.

Sorting by email address will lead you to the owner.

I have no problem sorting manually but when I "record" the macro something
goes array.
Also, it isn't up to me to choose the file type; 'just trying to make things
a bit more professional.

I had little problems creating a storable list in Lotus 1-2-3 but somewhere
along the process I'm missing an operational step.

Oh, well, it'll be something to work on when I get old. G

ciao, gotta go pop a cork.
