Copying absolute references

I have created a simple template with two worksheets.
The second worksheet summarizes the data from the first by referencing select cells. I have used the template to create a number of files. Since those files have been created I have changed some of the summary data collected from the first worksheet in the template. I would like to copy those formulas from the template to the second worksheet of the files created from the template to reflect the updated summary info. When I copy the formulas to the second worksheet of the files, the resulting copied formula makes reference to the first worksheet in the template. Other than editing each formula after it is copied to remove the reference to the template workbook is there some way to copy an 'absolute' value so that the second worksheet of the file refers to the first worksheet of the file?
