Office 2003 writes temp files to subfolder of Temporary Internet F
Is that really how it works, or is my install of Office 2003 just messed up?
seems like a silly place to put it, under Temporary Internet Files. |

Office 2003 writes temp files to subfolder of Temporary Internet F
Hello customer,
It is a by-design behavior that Office will write temp files in a folder. These temp files are the data sources to help you recover the files in case Office programs quit unexpectedly. If you do not set a location for AutoRecover files, Word places them in the temporary directory. For more information about the Autorecover feature, please see the articles below: How Word creates and recovers the AutoRecover files http://support.microsoft.com/kb/107686 How to recover a lost file in Word 2007 or in Word 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827099 If you have any questions, please let me know. I'm all set, I guess I was just surprised more than anything of the location.
Thanks. ""Ada Pan [MSFT]"" wrote: Hello Rich, May I know if you have any further concern about the issue? If yes, please drop me an update. I will be working with you closely.
