After the trial period, will my created files remain intact?
I have convered (by cutting & pasting) my WordPerfect documents to my 60-day
trial Microsoft Word program. If I purchase Microsoft Word before my trial period ends, will my created files during the 60 day trial period remain intact or will I lose them because of purchasing the program? Thanks for your comments. Janice |

No, you won't lose them but you won't be able to do anything except view and
print them. -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "JaniceA" wrote in message ... The trial version is identical to the commercial version other than being
time limited. If you purchase 2007 do so from a reseller so that you get the installation disc which will help should you have hardware problems or changes in the future. Documents that you create are unaffected by uninstalling the software. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org JaniceA wrote: I have convered (by cutting & pasting) my WordPerfect documents to my 60-day trial Microsoft Word program. Your answer was very helpful. I do, however have another question. Another
person who responded said I would not lose my documents, but that I would only be able to view and print them. Do you agree with this? With the trial version of 2007 yes - but if you buy the programme at the end
of the trial, you will be able to do what you like with them. You will also be able to open them in earlier Word versions with the compatibility pack. If you save them as RTF or Word 97-2003 format you will be able to edit them in Word Perfect too. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org JaniceA wrote: Your answer was very helpful.
