"Refresh Model" wizard creates duplicate unique indexes (SQL Serve
I'm using Visio 2007 to create a data model from a SQL Server 2005 database.
The database has several tables with unique indexes. When I refresh such tables, Visio creates duplicate copies of the unique indexes, with the same name. I can run Refresh Model again, and another copy of the unique indexes will be created. In Refresh Model, the report says there is an extra index with a name not showing in SQL Server (looks like Visio generated it), and it reports the SQL Server index as not existing in Visio. Is this a known bug? If not, I'd like to report it. (My workaround is to manually seek out the tables with unique indexes and remove each duplicate in turn. Then make sure I don't run Refresh Model on these tables. It's kind of a pain.) Thanks! |
