Default "record new macro" disabled

The menu option Tools/"Record new macro" is disabled in my Visio 2003
Standard. The Visual Basic menu entry is also disabled (grayed out). What
could be wrong? My macro security level is Medium.

What am I missing?

I found the solution: Go to Tools/Options and select the security tab. You
have to enable the Visual Basic features that you want to use.
