Send/Receive upon SEND of message no longer functional
Until recently, when an originator pressed Send, the message was sent. Now,
some users are experiencing transfer of the message to the outbox, and send does not occur until the next log on into Outlook. No changes to the SEND/RECEIVE configuration were made. In fact, the "Send immediately" check box appears to be ignored. This is OUTLOOK 2007, latested SP for Office... |

Send/Receive upon SEND of message no longer functional
MIcrosoft Exchange 2003, SP1 is the mail type, no erros are displayed. It
was discovevered with an email arrived with a send date four days after it was composed and "sent" by the originator. His outbox was emptied when he logged into Outlook after a four day vacation... The emails were his instructions to be followed while on vacation. A check of other accounts showed that their outboxes had messages in them. All accounts are configured for send immediately if connected to the mail server. "Brian Tillman [MVP - Outlook]" wrote: "Bradwin" wrote in message ...
