Org. Chart Appearance
Hi,
I am working on a Org Chart for my work, and this chart will be displayed on our intranet website. I have a couple questions about the 'save as html' in Visio 2002. When I perform the 'save as' it creates the html page which appears to have 2 frames. The right side is the actual Org Chart, and the left side is where the mouseover info appears. My first question, is there a way to customize the html output? I was asked if the Org Chart itself could be on the left side, and the 'info' frame be on the right. I've searched through the help, and MS website but I can't seem to find anything about this. Is it possible to switch the layout of the final ..html page? My next question is about pictures. On this same Org chart, they want me to have a picture of each employee. Since we have alot of employees it was suggested that, instead of trying to have a picture next to each 'box' on the org chart (takes up too much room). It would be nice if we could have the image over with the 'custom information' that appears in that other frame? So the image would only appear when the user moves their mouse over the boxes on the chart. Does anyone know if either of these are possible? Thanks Chris. |

Visio does not provide the specific customization for HTML output that you
are looking for. There are some options available through the Publish button in the save dialog. Visio 2003 allows pictures to be added to org chart shapes, but there is no ability to make pictures appear on mouse over. -- Mark Nelson Microsoft Corporation This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
