I can export to excel in design view, but not when the report is opened from
the switchboard. Right click also does not work. Ideas? TIA!

You have to right click on the file name in order to export. So when the
report is open you would not be able to do that.

In design mode, print preview, all options to export are available in the
ribbon and right click. When I open the database using the switch board,
print preview the report from a menu, only PDF or XPS options are available
on the ribbon, and no right click options.
