surface plots
I'm trying to show a data array as a surface. The help
file shows an example but no assistance. Firstly how do I prepare the data and secondly can I show more than one surface on a single chart? |

Vague question, but...
First, put your data array into a range of cells. Then create the surface chart. One surface per chart. This reply will probably be useless, so consider posting some more details. Or, do a search at www.groups.google and you'll find lots of info about Excel's surface charts. See www.tushar-mehta.com, 3-D surface charts for answers to your first question. The second question (multiple surfaces) is pretty tough if the surfaces overlap. I'm not sure how to visualize that...
