"Recently used file list" has disappeared.
How can the "Recently used file list" disappear?
Normally this can be set for about the last 10 entries but now it is faded out. Please help, Frank

Try this open word got to Tools Options General Tab and make sure the the recent documents check box is filled. The following KB article could be relevant:
