Default PPT 2007 - alt text ?

I'd like to create alt text* in PowerPoint 2003, which I think is not
possible. Is it maybe a new feature for that in PPT 2007?

The "insert comment" feature is not good enough to me, as I want to make a
list of instructions (not a single line).

*like in HTML: img src="button.gif" alt="Press this button to..."

Hi,

Select any object, click on Format, (whatever the object is), in the format
window, click the Web tab. Enter your alt-text there.
See: http://www.pptmagic.com/articles/accessppt.htm

This, however, will not create pop-up text in a presentation. It will
create alt-text for a screen reader.

If pop-up text is your goal, see this tutorial on mouse-overs:
http://www.pptmagic.com/articles/mouseoverheat.htm

Create a duplicate slide with the pop-up text and link it to appear on
mouse-over.

Default PPT 2007 - alt text ?

Thank you both for your answers!

It might be useful but I've read about Enhanced Screen Tip in PPT 2007. It
looks like this text area is possible to edit, to make some kinda list like
this

Input:
* Schedule
* List X

Working Step:
* Do this
* Do that

Output:
* List Y

I need about 4 popups a slide. Do you have any idea if PPT 2007 enhanced
Screen Tip feature can make that?

However I found out that "enhanced Screen Tip" in PPT 2007 might be my
solution. I dont have PPT v 2007 yet though.

Is it there possible to make a list like this one?

Input:
* List X
* Policy Q

Step:
* Do this
* Do that

Output:
* List Y

thank you!

Id like to make a lil bit more estetic list like I a few sec ago described
in this thread.
In ScreenTip I can only make "one line" of text, no list. Is that possible
maybe in the enhanced ScreenTip in PPT version 2007?

I use PPT 2003.

If vba is acceptable then it would be fairly easy to get a list pop up. There
are limitations especially if you intend to distribute the presentation.
