Hyperlinks Do Not Work in Outlook Express

My friend is using Outlook Express as her email reader. All of a sudden
she cannot open the URL's that come in an email message to her. The ones
that are highlighted in purple,

http://www.fabricmerchant.com/newarrivals/index.htm

It worked until recently. Do you know of anything that could have
changed in the last week or so?

I did look at another newsgroup and they suggested the following
Microsoft Knowledge Base article may solve her problem:

I'm sorry, but it didn't work.

My problem sounds just like yours. After trying method 1
on the following page, my problem went away. If you right
click on the following hyperlink (copy shortcut) and paste
it in a web browser you should get to this page. Sean

Hi everyone,

Thanks for helping to fix the problem. We did several things and now we
are not sure which one fixed the problem but we are grateful for all the
different things to try.
