Macro stopped working!

A few months ago in response to a query, Jay Freedman was
kind enough to send me a wonderful macro to add brackets
and bold a selection. I copied it into place and it
worked perfectly until today. I even tried deleting it
and recopying it, and I still can't get it to work. What
in the world can I do to get it back?

Exactly what happens when you try to run the macro?

If nothing appears to happen, make sure there is a period or question mark
at the end of the sentence.

Jay, thanks a million for coming through again. I pasted
it back into place and it's working fine.

To answer your question as to what happened when I ran
the macro (before re-pasting it), absolutely nothing
happened. That is, nothing that I could see/recognize.

But all's well for the moment. Rushes have been coming in
so fast that I didn't have time to investigate; only to
paste it back in from the original.
