Using Form Fields in tables
Hello,
Is it possbile to use form fields in Word table cells, and have form fields wrap so they don't break the correct column widths? I have a table of form fields, but when text is entered in these they do not wrap at all, and break the table layout. Is there a way to do this? thanks --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Using Form Fields in tables
Yes,
Unless the cells of the table have fixed dimensions, the text entered into a formfield will wrap within the cell just like any other text entered into a table cell. What do you mean by "break the table layout"? -- Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the benefit of others who may be interested. Using Form Fields in tables
Thanks - yes the problem was when the user entered text into the form
fields, the table cells would expand horizontally instead of wrapping, hence breaking the overall layout of the table. I'll double-check that table properties dialog box. Thanks for your help. --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
