Keyboard mapping changed on Access no other applications affected
I don't know how this happened but for some reason the keyboard
mapping for Microsoft Access has switched the @ with the " key. So when I click shft+' I get a @. I'm using the On Screen keyboard to make sure this is the case and it is - every other application Word and so on have the mapping in the right location. Really weird. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Matt |

I was going to suggest that perhaps you have somehow set the AutoCorrect
options under spelling to do that. However, you said it only happens in Access and I think that all the Office applications share the same file for this. When you type " and get @ instead have you ever immediately done an undo (control + z or selected Undo from the menu). If so, did that revert the @ to a quotation mark? Other than that I am as puzzled as you. If this is happening during data entry into a control, turn off the allow autocorrect property on the control and see if that helps.
